  • ONE SHAFT, 20 FEET DEEP AS OF DEC. 1891; NEAR ITS SURFACE THE ROCKS ARE COATED WITH ZINC CARBONATE; AT MORE DEPTH ARE CAVITIES LINED WITH QUARTZ CRYSTALS. A PIT ABOUT 30' WEST OF THE SHAFT AND UNDER THE SIDE OF THE SILICEOUS LEDGE IS COVERED WITH ZINC CARBONATE.
