  • A LARGE OPEN CUT REMOVED ORIGINAL ORE. A SHAFT 100 FEET DEEP HAD LITTLE SUCCESS. 2ND SHAFT MET SAME FATE. AFTER SPENDING MANY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN EXPLORATION THE ATTEMPT TO FIND GOOD ORE IN PROFITABLE QUANITY WAS ABANDONED. OPEN PIT 50' LONG WITH LONG TAILINGS PILE STILL EVIDENT (1985)
