  • OPENED BY 2 SLOPES 150 FEET APART. BY 1876 THE SHAFTS WERE 130 FEET DEEP WITH DRIFTS FOLLOWING THE ORE FOR 220 FEET. BOTH SHAFTS ARE VISIBLE ONE 12 FEET IN DIAMETER BY 20 FEET DEEP, THE OTHER 30 FEET IN DIAMETER FILLED TO WITHIN 4 FEET WITH ROCK
