  • MAIN OPENING WAS AN OPEN PIT 100 FT. LONG, 25 FT WIDE AND 50 FT DEEP. FURTHER NORTH A SHAFT WAS SUNK TO 100 FEET. BY 1873 THE SHAFT REACHED 140 FEET IN A RICH ORE WITH MUCH SULPHUR. SHAFT STILL VISABLE (1985)
