  • OPEN CUT 300 FEET LONG 50 FEET DEEP WITH A SHAFT TO THE NORTH CONNECTED TO THE OPEN CUT BY A DRIFT. MOST ORE WAS SURFACE ORE TAKEN OUT BY PICK AND HOISTED BY TWO STEAM DERRICKS. BOTTOM OF PIT ORE WAS DARK & COMPACT. TRENCH MOSTLY FILLED NOW (1986) SHAFT 10 FEET IN DIAMETER AND 7 FEET DEEP VISIBLE WITH VERY LITTLE ORE ON SURFACE
