Comments on the workings information

  • HAVE NO LITERATURE ON THIS MINE, SO DESCRIPTION IS LIMITED TO WHAT WAS OBSERVED IN THE FIELD (APRIL 1987). COLLAPSED PORTAL OCCURS AT 2480 FT, WITH A SPOIL PILE NEARBY. MOST OF THE SPOIL IS HEMATITIC, BUT NO GOOD SAMPLES OF GOSSAN OR SULFIDES. 2 SMALL CIRCULAR PITS OCCUR ABOVE THE PORTAL, NEAR THE HILL'S CREST. ON TREND (N 65 E) FROM PORTAL NEAR CREEK IS A POSSIBLE COLLAPSED SHAFT (WATER-FILLED) CIRCULAR PIT APPROXIMATELY 10 FT DEEP).

Comments on development

  • HAVE ASSUMED A HISTORY SIMILAR TO THAT FOR THE WILDCAT MINE.
