COX (PERSONAL COMMUNICATION, 1985) DID RECALL OTHER BARITE PROSPECTING (IN ADDITION TO THE OX PROSPECT) NEAR THE NEW RIVER, BUT WAS UNABLE TO GAVE AN EXACT LOCATION. NO SURFACT WORKINGS COULD BE FOUND IN THE FIELD.

Deposit STOSE AND STOSE (1957) INDICATED A BARITE ZONE TRENDING N 55 E AND BARITE PROSPECT ON THEIR MAP. NO DESCRIPTION OF THE SITE WAS GIVEN IN THEIR REPORT. J.B.
