Deposit NUMEROUS PREHISTORIC WORKINGS. IN 1871, AREA WAS REDISCOVERED. IN 1874 THE MINONG MINING CO WAS ORGANIZED AND IN 1876 A STAMP MILL WAS BUILT. PRODUCTION OCCURRED FROM 1875-1883
Deposit NUMEROUS PREHISTORIC WORKINGS IN THIS AREA. MAIN WORKINGS WERE ON A 1-3 FEET WIDE VEIN WITH SEVERAL LARGE MASSES OF COPPER (1-6 TONS APIECE)
