  • FISSURE MATERIAL HAS 1 TO 2 MM LONG MILKY QUARTZ CRYSTALS IN A COMB STRUCTURE ALONG THE WALLS; THE INTERIORS ARE FILLED WITH CREAM-COLORED MASSIVE CALCITE AND SUBORDINATE AMOUNTS OF WHITE CALCITE CRYSTALS. SOME SMALL MASSES OF CHALCOCITE OCCUR IN THE CALCITE, AND A LITTLE CHALCOCITE IS DISSEMINATED IN THE RHYOLITE.
