Comments on the geologic information

  • IN THE IROQUOIS AMYGDALOID, COPPER OCCURS IN INTERSTICES BETWEEN FRAGMENTS, IN VESICLES, SMALL CRACKS, AND FISSURES AND AS THIN SHEETS ALONG JOINTS. MOST OF THE COPPER IS IN SMALL MASSES OR DISSEMINATED IN FINE GRAINS INTIMATELY ASSOCIATED WITH OTHER POST-MAGMATIC MINERALS, SUCH AS CALCITE AND PREHNITE. COPPER IS CONCENTRATED MAINLY IN THE LOWER PART OF THE AMYGDALOID.
