POST-GOLD QUARTZ-ZEOLITE VEINS OFFSET FOLDED GOLD-BEARING VEINS. GOLD BY THIS RELATIONSHIP MUST BEE PRE-TACONIC (>480MY). CORBITT (1987) RECOGNIZES THE SAME STRUCTURAL RELATIONSHIPSuBUT FAVORS METAMORPHIC-RELATED ORIGIN BECAUSE HE DOES NOT OBSERVE CONTACTuMETAMPORPHIC EFFECTS FROM THE QUARTZ DIORITE IN THE SURROUNDING SEDIMENTS.
