Comments on the reserve resource information

  • ON THE BASIS OF A VERY CONSERVATIVE ESTIMATE OF 15 POUNDS OF MAGNETITE PER CUBIC FOOT, THIS DUNE CONTAINS 20,000 TONS OF MAGNETITE. A MORE OPTIMISTIC BUT STILL CONSERVATIVE APPRAISAL OF THE RECONNAISSANCE DATA WOULD INCREASE THE HATILLO DEPOSIT BY 25 PERCENT TO 27,000 TONS (GUILLOU AND GLASS, 1957, P. 301-302).
