General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit THIS LATERITE-SERPENTINE DEPOSIT IS AN EROSIONAL REMNANT OF A LARGER DEPOSIT ON THE CREST OF A RIDGE. THE ENRICHED ZONE IN THE EASTERN END OF THE DEPOSIT WAS APPARENTLY ERODED, AS ONLY SOFT SERPENTINE WITH VERY LOW NICKEL CONTENT IS LEFT IN THAT AREA. THE LATERITE AND SOFT SERPENTINE PENETRATED BY THE ONE HOLE DRILLED IN THE WEST END OF THE DEPOSIT ARE 15 AND 23 FEET THICK, RESPECTIVELY. THE ENRICHED ZONE HERE IS COMPOSED ENTIRELY OF SOFT SERPENTINE AND IS 15.5 FEET THICK. THIS ZONE IS UNDERLAIN BY 7.5 FEET OF SOFT SERPENTINE.
