Economic information

Comments on the geologic information

  • THE LIMESTONE IS OVERLAIN BY AUGITE ANDESITE; FIELD RELATIONS INDICATE THAT THE STRIKE OF THE CONTACT OF THE TWO IS N 48 W AND THE DIP 52 SW, MAKING IT APPEAR THAT A SYNCLINE OCCURS BETWEEN DEPOSIT NO. 5 AND DEPOSIT NO.4 AND THAT THE LIMESTONE AT DEPOSIT NO. 5 MAY BE THE SAME BED WITH WHICH DEPOSITS NO. 1 THROUGH 4 ARE ASSOCIATED. THE DEPOSIT LIES 1 1/3 MILES NORTHEAST OF THE SAN LORENZO BATHOLITH CONTACT AND 1 2/3 MILES SOUTHEAST OF THE LUQUILLO STOCK.
