Subject category Comment text
Deposit DRUSY CAVITIES LINED WITH TRAPEZOHEDRONS OF GARNET AND SOMETIMES SMALL OCTAHEDRONS OF MAGNETITE, AS WELL AS CRYSTALS OF QUARTZ, ARE COMMON. VEINLETS OF MAGNETITE AND QUARTZ CUT MASSIVE GARNET ROCK; THE GARNET IS REDDISH BROWN, AND QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS INDICATES THAT IT IS ANDRADITE. THE OUTCROP CAN BE TRACED FOR 335 FT.
