Economic information

Comments on the geologic information

  • ANOMALOUS MO, ZN, CD, AND AS, AND SEVERAL FEATURES TYPICAL OF PORPHYRY-TYPE MOLYBDENUM DEPOSITS. ANOMALOUS AMOUNTS OF AG (UP TO 4 PPM) OCCUR IN QUARTZ VEINS. THE PRESENCE OF PYRRHOTITE, PYRITE, MAGNETITE, AND SECONDARY BIOTITE SUGGESTS CONDITIONS OF HIGH TEMPERATURE AND LOW SULFUR AND OXYGEN FUGACITIES DURING STOCKWORK VEINING. INTRUSIVE ROCK IS PART OF THE RESURGENT DOME OF THE INFIERNITO CALDERA.
