Comments on the geologic information

  • BARITE CEMENTS LIMONITE-SPECKLED SANDSTONE A FEW TENS OF METERS FROM THE FAULT. CALCITE AND BARITE IN THE VEIN CONTAIN TWO-PHASE (LIQUID PLUS VAPOR) FLUID INCLUSIONS. A LIMESTONE MARKER BED IN THE UPPER PART OF THE YUCCA FORMATION IS CUT BY THE FAULT BUT IS NOT ALTERED OR MINERALIZED, EXCEPT FOR A GALENA-VEINED BLOCK OF LIMESTONE FOUND IN THE FAULT PLANE APPROXIMATELY 200 FT (60 M) NORTHEAST OF THE SHAFT. QUARTZ OVERGROWTHS ON DETRITAL GRAINS MAY HAVE FORMED DURING PB-AG-CU MINERALIZATION.
