THE MIOCENE STRATA INTERSECTED ARE CHARACTERISTIC OF A TRANSITIONAL ZONE FROM LIMESTONE INTO AN EVAPORITIC SEQUENCE; THE SLIGHTLY ANOMALOUS LEAD AND ZINC VALUES ARE OF NO SIGNIFICANCE.

THIS AREA IS ISOLATED FROM THAT TO THE SOUTH (JABAL DHAYLAN 0334) BY A SERIES OF FAULTS.
