Comments on development

  • HOLE DY 23 - ANOMALOUS GEOCHEMICAL VALUES FOR LEAD-ZINC IN MIOCENE CARBONATES. DRILLING WAS AIMED AT TESTING THE POSSIBLE SUB-SURFACE CONTINUATION OF FRACTURED ZONES HOSTING SURFACE MINERALIZATION. THE SINGLE DRILL HOLE INTERSECTED CAVERNOUS AND FRACTURED MIOCENE REEF LIMESTONES SPOTTED WITH IRON AND MANGANESE OXIDES, UNDERLAIN BY MARL AND SANDY/GYPSIFEROUS CLAY. SEVERAL LEAD-ZINC ANOMALIES WERE DETECTED IN THE MIOCENE LIMESTONES, BUT NONE WERE SIGNIFICANT.
