Deposit DEPOSIT CONSISTS OF 4 MANTOS WHICH OUTCROP OVER A DISTANCE OF 2.5 KM. LENSES OF GALENA ARE UP TO 0.5 M THICK AND ARE FOUND IN SOUTH END OF THE DEPOSIT. CHALCOCITE AND BORNITE REPLACE ANHYDRITE CEMENT IN SANDSTONE AND CONGLOMERATE. TOTORA FORMATION HOSTS CHALCOCITE, NATIVE CU, MALACHITE, AZURITE, AS AND AG MINERALS, GALENA, AND MN OXIDES. HUAYLLAMARCA FORMATION HOSTS CUPRITE, NATIVE CU, MALACHITE, AND DOMEYKITE MINERALIZATION AND IS LOWER IN GRADE. SECONDARY COPPER MINERALS ARE FOUND IN VERTICAL FRACTURES AROUND OREBODIES.
