  • WALLROCKS ARE HIGHLY FRACTURED AND ALTERED. LIMESTONES ARE DARK GRAY, CHERTY, DOLOMITIC, SILICIFIED AND IMPREGNATED WITH VEINS OF QUARTZ, JASPEROID AND CALCITE. SHALES ARE FRIABLE, GREENISH GRAY TO BLACK, CARBONACEOUS, SERICITIC, SILICEOUS, AND KAOLIMITIC. LIMONITIC STAINS ARE VERY COMMON ON WALLROCKS.
