General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit DEPOSIT IS DISSEMINATED AU AND MEGASCOPIC PYRITE AND CHALCOPYRITE IN PRECALDERA CONEJOS FM BRECCIAS JUST OUTSIDE CALDERA RIM FAULT. MINERALIZING SOLUTIONS ROSE THROUGH CALDERA RIM FAULT AND ASSOCIATED FRACTURES AND INTO POROUS BRECCIAS. CONEJOS SEQUENCE CUT BY NE-TRENDING ANDESITE PORPHYRY DIKES. PYRITE LOCALIZED IN BRECCIA FRAGMENTS AND MATRIX AND COMPRISES UP TO 5% OF ROCK. ASSAYS INDICATE DISSEMINATED AU ALTHOUGH MEGASCOPIC CHALCOPYRITE AND NATIVE AU FOUND. BIRD INTERPRETS ORIGIN AS LOW-TEMPERATURE GASEOUS TRANSPORT, SIMILAR TO VERA BRECCIA PIPE.
