  • BY 1942 THE WORKINGS CONSISTED OF TWO ADITS ON THE WEST SLOPE OF MILLER CREEK ROUGHLY 150 FEET ABOVE THE CANYON MOUTH. THE UPPER ADIT WAS 120 FEET LONG WITH A FORTY FOOT WINZE FIFTY FEET INSIDE THE PORTAL, SOME DRIFTING HAD BEEN DONE FROM THE WINZE. THE LOWER ADIT (100 FEET LOWER) WAS CAVED.
