| Deposit | AEC PRELIMINARY RECON REPORT CITED CARNOTITE OCCURRING AS A COATING ON CARBONACEOUS SANDSTONE, AS FRACTURE FILLING, AND AS FILLING IN APPARENT SOLUTION CAVITIES. KNOWLES (1960) REPORTED THAT THE KATHRYN INCLINE ENCOUNTERED HIGH MINERALIZATION IN A 3- TO 5-FT-WIDE BRECCIATED ZONE ALONG A SMALL NORMAL FAULT OF LOW DISPLACEMENT. DEPOSIT COULD BE PARTLY DISSEMINATION, CHEMICAL PRECIPITATE ON FRACTURES AND IN CAVITIES, AND POSSIBLY REPLACEMENT IN FAULT BRECCIA ZONE. |
