Comments on the location information

  • Original lat/long 48 55N 117 25W is very imprecise, no seconds. So generic that another reporter used the same coords (10107737 Myeerah). One minute = ~2km. Minutes appear to be rounded to 5 (+/- 10km). Located in Pend Oreille county 1400m to the Stevens county line. Political location stated in the record is Stevens county. PLSS coords are 40N 42E S14. Center of S14 corresponds to 48 58 25N 117 27 45W. This does fall in Stevens county and was used to replace the original coords. No UTM given.
