  • Drive to Jamestown, Co. 1 block from store south turn up hill take first right hand road, very accessible. 1/4 mile from Jamestown below dump of old Jamestown tunnel driven 1500 feet for gold at the base of Porphyry Mt. (Note that original record is hand written in old-style cursive and mostly lacking in punctuation).

General Escanaba & Humbolt were mined aobut 50 years ago [as of 1961] for gold, silver, lead, zinc, copper.
General OME-6122 is very difficult to read. But if this property is important, the user should make the effort to fully transpose that record.
