General comments

Subject category Comment text
General Atlantic City-South Pass "district" contains both gold vein and gold placer deposits. Presumably, May and Jump claims are placers. However, there is no mention of either claim in the cited references. A proprietary subscription to Metals Economics Group (www.metalseconomics.com) lists a "deposit" called the "May Gold Placer Claims." There is no proof that this is the same deposit, but for further information, the user may wish to pursue this possible lead.
