Deposit THIN INTERBEDS OF ULEXITE AND INYOITE OCCUR WITHIN LIGHT BROWN MUDDY CLAYSTONE. ULEXITE IS HARD AND OCCURS IN RHYTHMIC BEDS NO MORE THAN 5 CM THICK. INYOITE OCCURS IN THIN BEDS WITH ULEXITE AND CLASTICS AND AS TRANSGRESSIVE GROWTHS ON PRE-EXISTING MATERIALS. INYOITE OCCURS AS BROWN RHOMBOIDAL CRYSTALS AND AS ROSETTES UP TO 5 CM IN SIZE. B-BEARING SECTION TOTALS 1.6 M THICK. THE BORATES ARE GENERALLY OF LOW QUALITY AND OCCUR IN VERY THIN LAYERS.
