  • SOAPSTONE HAS BEEN MINED SINCE EARLY 1955. MATERIAL MINED IS TRUCKED TO COMPANY'S GRINDING PLANT AT FLORIN, SACRAMENTO CO., AND PREPARED FOR USE IN INSECTICIDES. FRANK HARRIS HAS CONTRACT TO MINE AND HAUL THE ORE TO THE PLANT.
