  • SHAFT SUNK IN SILICA-CARBONATE ROCKS IN 1870'S AND IT WAS REPORTED THAT ORE AVERAGED $30 TO $40 PER TON IN GOLD AND CONTAINED IN ADDITION SILVER, IRON, MANGANESE, ANTIMONY, AND TRACES OF NICKEL. THERE IS NO RECORD OF PRODUCTION.
