Deposit PROBABLY SAME DEPOSIT AS MIDDLE BLACK MTS. DEPOSITS. PERLITE IS PART OF AN 8000-10000 FT THICK SEQUENCE OF TERT VOLCANICS. THE PERLITIC ZONES ARE 12-30 FT THICK AND ARE IN THE UPPER PORTION OF THE VOLCANIC SERIES.
