  • IN 1972, A 6M-DIAMETER WATER-FILLED PIT AND 2 SMALLER WATER-FILLED SHAFTS WERE REPORTED. BY 1976, THE PROPERTY HAD BEEN LOGGED, AND GRADED OVER, AND NO MINING EVIDENCE COULD BE FOUND (SWEET, 1976).
