Comments on the workings information

  • THE DEPOSIT WAS SERVICED BY A 160 FT CROSSCUT ADIT BEARING N40W WHICH REVEALED THE VEIN 150 FT FROM THE PORTAL. AT THIS POINT A BADLY CAVED 50 FT VERTICAL RAISE ON THE VEIN CONNECTS WITH THE SURFACE. SEVERAL SMALL PITS AND OPENCUTS EXPLORED THE VEIN ON THE SURFACE FOR 110 FT ADJACENT TO THE SHAFT.

Subject category Comment text
Deposit FLUORSPAR WAS DEPOSITED AS CREVICE-FILLING AND AS DRUSY COATINGS IN A BRECCIA ZONE 3 TO 6 FT WIDE IN A VERTICAL FAULT STRIKING N65E. THE VEIN IS TRACEABLE FOR 100 FT ON THE SURFACE, PINCHING TO A FEW INCHES AT EITHER END. THE ORE IS LIGHT GREEN AND MEDIUM TO COARSELY CRYSTALLINE, OCCURRING PARTLY AS WALL ROCK REPLACEMENT.
