Deposit TYPE OF DEPOSIT NOT EXACTLY UNKNOWN BUT IS ASSUMED TO BE SIMILAR TO STRATABOUND MASSIVE SULFIDES OF MINES TO NE. MINE SYMBOL ON GEOLOGIC MAP IS LOCATED ON INTERFINGERING CONTACT BETWEEN TWO PRINCIPAL UNITS OF DUBOIS GREENSTONE. FOLIATION OR LAYERING TRENDS GENERALLY N 40 E. EAST OF MINE IS SMALL STOCK OF GRANITE AND QUARTZ SYENITE. SOUTH OF MINE ARE LEUCOGRANITE DIKES AND LENSOID BODIES. OCCURRENCE OF GALENA AND THORITE MENTIONED BY ANCTIL (1954).
