Commodities

Commodity Importance
Talc-Soapstone Tertiary

Comments on the commodity information

  • CORE DRILLING INTERCEPTED THE TALC-BEARING HORIZON BUT ONLY A TRACE OF TALC WAS FOUND. ADDITIONAL DRILLING IS JUSTIFIED CONSIDERING THE CONTINUATION OF THE TALC-BEARING HORIZON NORTHEASTWARD TO THE OLD KINSEY TALC MINE, 1,000 FEET AWAY.

Comments on the workings information

  • CORE DRILLING ENCOUNTERED ONLY A TRACE AMOUNT OF TALC. AN EXPOSURE OF TREMOLITIC MARBLE IN A NEARLY RAILROAD CUT CONTAINS SMALL FLAKES OF TALC, WHICH WAS THE BASIS FOR INITIAL CORE DRILLING ON THE PROPERTY.

Comments on development

  • OVER 2,600 LINEAR FEET OF CORE DRILLING WAS DONE ON THE PROPERTY. THIS DRILLING WAS IMPORTANT TO SUBDIVISION OF THE MURPHY MARBLE FORMATION, INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY IN LOCATING THE TALC-BEARING ZONE WITHIN THE FORMATION.
