  • GEOL.DESC: GREENSTONE FOOTWALL, SLATE HANGING WALL; QUARTZ VEIN AVERAGES 5 TO 6 FT. IN THICKNESS AND IN ONE PLACE WIDENS TO 20 FT.; THE VEIN CONSISTS OF TWO STRATA SEPARATED BY THIN SEAMS OF GOUGE AND SLATE. VEIN OCCURS AT 2 EXPOSURES ON THE SURFACE DUE TO REPETITION CAUSED BY FAULTING.
