Comments on the production information

  • ASSAYS OF 19, 25, AND 39 PERCENT MANGANESE WERE QUOTED FROM THE LOWER ZONE. ALL OF THE MATERIAL IS TOO LOW IN MANGANESE AND TOO HIGH IN IRON TO BE OF SHIPPING GRADE. USGS QUAD SUTTER CREEK 1962, SHOWS UNIDENTIFIED SHAFT IN SW COR. OF THIS SEC. - HOWEVER, IT WOULD SEEM NOT TO BE THE LOCATION OF THIS MINE IF GEOGRAPHIC DESCRIPTION ABOVE IS CORRECT.
