ORE BED IS WHITE CHERT PENETRATED BY PSILOMELANE AND PYROLUSITE. MUCH RED CHERT IS MANGANESE STAINED WITH THIN BEDS OF MANGANESE OXIDES. 1 TO 2 FT. THICK BED OF PSILOMELANE IS EXPOSED FOR 6 FT.
