JASPER IS ACCOMPANIED BY SMALL LENSES OF SILICEOUS BLACK MANGANESE OXIDE, WITH MAXIMUM THICKNESS OF 2 FT. ORE CONTAINS NUMEROUS CORES OF SILICA SKELETONS, IS TRAVERSED BY STREAKS OF JASPERY SILICA CONTAINING SPHERICAL CAVITIES, AND IS CUT BY QUARTZ VEINS.
