Deposit BRECCIATED WELDED TUFF WITH SOME PALE WHITE FLUORITE AND IRON OXIDES IN MATRIX; STRUCTURE NOT WELL-EXPOSED, BUT TRENCHING FOLLOWS N30-40W TREND. WELDED TUFF EXPOSED IN THE TRENCHES IS SERICITIZED, CONTAINS PHENOCRYSTS OF SMOKY QUARTZ AND SANIDINE IN A KAOLINIZED, SERICITIZED GROUNDMASS. ALTERED ZONE APPEARS TO BE ALONG THE FLANK OF AN OBSIDIAN-RICH DOME OR PLUG NORTH OF THE PROSPECTS.
