Deposit THE NICKELIFEROUS LATERITES ARE FOUND BENEATH UPPER FERRUGINOUS CRUST OF THE SHEALDS, OVERLYING THE SERPENTIMIZED PERIDOTITE
Deposit ELIPTIC INTUSION 12 KM X 6 KM; THE NOT ALTERATED PERIDOTITE CONTAINS 0.3 TOCONTAINS 0.7 UP TO TO 1.2 % NI.THE ALTERATED ZONE OF PERIDOTITE HAS A THICKNESS OF ONLY 2 METER. THE FERRUGIUS SHIELDES THEMSELVES HAVE A LOW NICKEL CONTENT; AMBATOVY AVERAGE 0.17 % NI, ANALAMY AVERAGE 0.20 % NI.THE HIGHER VALUES ARE FOUND IN THE LATERITIC LAYER IMMEDIATELY OVERLYING THE BASAL PERIDOTITES.
