  • OPEN CUT 120 FEET LONG FEET AND 30 FEET WIDE WITH A 10 FOOT FACE FACING SOUTH. THERE IS A TUNNEL FIFTY FEET FROM THE-EAST END OF THE CUT,OF UNSTATED LENGTH. SAYS ONLY THAT NO ORE WAS SEEN BEYOND TEN FEET INTO THE TUNNEL. THERE IS A ONE FOOT BED OF QUARTZITE IN THE BOTTOM OF THE CUT.

  • THERE WERE ABOUT 150 TONS OF ROCK, RICH IN SMITHSONITE ON THE ORE HEAP AS OF 1900.
