  • GEOL.DESC: FISSURE OR VEIN OF PSILOMELANE COATED WITH SOME CLAY AND IRON OXIDES IN ANDESITE PORPHYRY. FISSURE ZONE STRIKES N 10 W., DIPPING 60 E. SURROUNDING ROCKS ARE PORPHYRITIC VOLCANICS. VERY LITTLE SOFT, BLACK SOOTY MANGANESE OXIDE IS FOUND WITH THE PSILOMELANE.
