| Deposit | WORKINGS ARE ON A HILL ABOUT 500 FT ABOVE AND 1 MILE S OF WARRIOR MINE, BUT WITHIN THE SAME WELDED TUFF UNIT. MOST- OF THE WORKINGS ARE ALONG SILICIFIED ZONES WITHIN SHEARS THAT- CUT THE VOLCANICS LIKE A STOCKWORK. SAMPLE 3153 WAS FROM A VE-IN IN AN INCLINE BEARING S30E, 80W. ADJACENT TO THE SHAFT, A D-RILL HOLE HAS BEEN SLANTED TO CROSS THE SAME VEIN. THE VEIN MA-TERIAL WAS IRON-STAINED QUARTZ STRINGERS AND LESSER AMOUNTS OF- BRECCIA WITH QUARTZ FRAGMENTS AND A MATRIX CONSISTING IN PART- OF GRAY-BLACK FINE CRYSTALS OF SULFIDES. THE AMOUNT OF BRECCI-A PRESENT IS SUBORDINATE TO THE AMOUNT OF QUARTZ. SAMPLE 3154 -IS FROM ANOTHER SHAFT TO THE WEST THAT WAS ALSO ADJACENT TO A -SLANTED DRILL HOLE. THIS SECOND VEIN WAS IN A SHEAR BEARING N -40E, DIP SW, WITH STRINGERS OF IRON-STAINED QUARTZ AND SOME AL-UNITE CRYSTALS. |
