DEFORMATION, ANGULAR UNCONFORMITIES OF REPEATED ERUPTIONS AND EROSION. TUFF HAS HIGH POROSITY AND PERMEABILITY. TWO SETS OF FAULTS (1) PRE-MINERAL, NS EARLY REGIONAL FAULTS AND CALDERA RING FAULT SYSTEM; (2) POST-MINERAL PIE-WEDGE LIKE RADIAL FAULTS.

MOST ELECTRUM 5-40 MICRON IN SIZE WITH 5-15% IN 75-250 MICRON SIZE. THERE ARE 5 DEPOSITS TO BE MINED FROM 2 OPEN PITS: ALTO DE LA MINA, SANTA ROSA A,B,C,D. DEPOSITS OCCUR WITHIN A POROUS PYROCLASTIC UNIT SANDWICHED BETWEEN 2 ANDESITIC UNITS.
