Comments on the geologic information

  • THE SHORELINE DEPOSITS AT YOGANUP EXTENDED ARE CONSIDERED TO BE THE NORTHWARD EXTENSION OF THOSE IN THE YOGANUP CENTRAL MINE. THERE ARE TWO PRINCIPAL SHORELINES WHERE MINING TAKES PLACE. A THIRD LARGE DEPOSIT CONTAINS HEAVY MINERALS NOT CHEMICALLY SUITABLE FOR THE CURRENT MARKET. ASSOCIATED WITH THESE DEPOSITS ARE A NUMBER OF SMALLER HEAVY MINERAL BEARING HORIZONS. FIVE ANCIENT HEAVY MINERAL HORIZONS AT YOGANUP EXTENDED MINE ARE AT 66,43 TO 43, 36, 2, 8 AND 26 TO 28 M ABOVE SEA LEVEL.
