Deposit PRACTICAMENTE ES UNA VETA PRINCIPAL QUE ESTA CONTENIDA INTEGRAMENTE EN LA CALIZA, LA VETA CRUZA LA QUEBRADA DE YERBAHUMA DE UN LADO A OTRO, SU RELLENO ESTA FORMADO EN SU MAYOR PARTE POR OXIDOS DE HIERRO, LIMONITA, CON GANGA DE CUARZO CAVERNOSO Y CALCITA CRISTALIZADA, OCASIONALMENTE SE HA ENCONTRADO PEQUENOS PUNTOS DE CHALCOPIRITA, LA OXIDACION HA SIDO BASTANTE INTENSA, POR CUANTO AUN EN LAS LABORES MAS BAJAS QUE SON LAS MAS PROFUNDAS, SE NOTA LA AUSENCIA COMPLETA DE SULFUROS METALICOS.
