Comments on the geologic information

  • COUNTRY ROCK IS FOLIATED IN PLACES AND CONTAINS DISSEMINATED BORNITE (?), CHALCOCITE (?), CHALCOPYRITE, AND MAGNETITE, AT TIMES ALTERED TO HEMATITE. THERE IS LINEATION OF THE GRANITE WHICH COULD INDICATE SHEARING. SOME OF THE GRANITE THAT SHOWS DEFINITE LINEATION OF BIOTITE IS FINE GRAINED WITH SACCHARDIDAL QUARTZ AND FELDSPAR, INDICATING DEFORMATION AFTER COOLING. QUARTZ VEINS ARE SHEARED IN PLACES AND ARE HEALED WITH CHLORITE AND SERICITE. A SELVAGE OF QUARTZ, SERICITE, LIMONITE, AND HEMATITE AFTER CHLORITE IS PRESENT.
