  • GEOL.DESC: ORE BODIES ASSOCIATED WITH FAULT ZONES IN RHYOLITE PORPHYRY. THREE PERIODS OF FAULTING ARE TRACEABLE. METALLIC SULPHIDES AND SILICA ARE DEPOSITED IN DEEPER ZONES AND CALCITE IMPREGNATED WITH IRON AND MANGANESE OXIDES IN UPPER ZONES. CARBONATE WAS LEACHED NEAR THE SURFACE LEAVING DEPOSITED OF MANGANESE AND IRON IN A MATRIX OF SILICA.
