Deposit DEPOSIT NOT EXPOSED NOR DESCRIBED IN THE LITERATURE. AS WITH THE OTHER DEPOSITS IN THE DISTRICT, BARITE MOST LIKELY OCCURS IN VEINS AND REPLACEMENT MASSES IN FRACTURED BEDROCK, AND AS IRREGULAR FRAGMENTS IN THE SOIL.
Deposit BECAUSE SURFACE WORKINGS ON THIS PROPERTY ARE NOT CONTINUOUS, THE WORKINGS ARE DIVIDED INTO THREE MINE SITES FOR DESCRIPTION AND FIELD LOCATION. THE THRE MINE SITES ARE REFERRED TO AS THE SHANKLIN MINE #1, SHANKLIN MINE #2 (HERE DESCRIBED), AND SHANKLIN MINE #3. THIS IS A NEW LOCATION, NOT PREVIOUSLY DESCRIBED IN THE LITERATURE. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT; 3 FIELD OBSERV
